MCNALLY: Does any board members have any comments or concerns?  If not, does the general public have any comments or concerns?

MANNING: Just a brief explanation let the record show that we properly posted this notice in our official newspapers within the required time period.  The public hearing is to basically consider Local Law #1 of 2026. This is a local law that we enact every year by law we have to sanction section 201 of the county.  It requires that we post and set the salaries of the appointed officials in the County of Essex and the purpose of that is if you want to increase it or decrease the salaries you cannot do so without a local law during the term while they are serving, you cannot do so without a local law subject to permissive referendum and after this public hearing we will be passing Local Law #1 of 2026 which is the actual salary schedule.

MCNALLY: Alright if there is no comments, the public hearing is adjourned.

As there was no further discussion the public hearing was adjourned at 11:05 a.m.

Respectfully submitted,

Judith Garrison, Clerk

Board of Supervisors
