Chairman Wood called this Personnel Meeting to order at 10:18 am with the following Supervisors in attendance: Clayton Barber, Ken Hughes, Mary Lamphear, Tracie McGill, Steve McNally, Clayton Menser, Timothy Pierce, Richard Preston, Cathleen Reusser, Matt Stanley, Davina Thurston, Ike Tyler, Joe Pete Wilson and Margaret Wood. Matthew Brassard, Chris Clark and James O’Bryan were excused. Timothy Follos was absent.

Department Heads present: Judy Garrison, Roy Holzer, Dan Manning, Jennifer Mascarenas, Michael Mascarenas and Jim Dougan.

Deputies present: Bill Tansey

WOOD: Good morning, everyone. We’ll start with Jen.

J.MASCARENAS: Good morning. I don’t have anything in addition to my monthly report and the updated vacancy list I emailed to everyone yesterday.

BARBER: I didn’t hear a word you said.

J.MASCARENAS: I don’t have anything in addition to my monthly report or vacancy list.

WOOD: Does anyone have any questions for Jen? Any remarks? Any concerns? Alright, thank you. Judy.

GARRISON: Good morning. I submitted a monthly report and the only thing I do want to mention to the board is the NYSAC Conference is March 16-18 in Albany. I’ve heard from some of you but please let me know if you are planning on attending so I can get the arrangements made for that. That is at the Desmond in Albany.

WOOD: Okay, anybody have any questions or remarks for Judy? I’m seeing none, thank you. Okay Dan.

MANNING: I have nothing unless there are any questions, but I do want to go into an executive session relative to legal advice concerning some tax foreclosure issues that have risen and policy regarding taxes and surplus with respect to landbank purchases and others.

WOOD: Okay, so it is 10:21 a.m. can I have a motion? Mr. Tyler, second by Mr. Barber.

THE COMMITTEE MOVED INTO AN EXECUTIVE SESSION AT 10:21 A.M. RELATIVE TO LEGAL ADVICE CONCERNING TAX FORECLOSURE ISSUES AND POLICY REGARDING TAXES AND SURPLUS WITH RESPECT TO THE LAND BANK PURCHASES AND OTHERS.

THE COMMITTEE MOVED BACK INTO OPEN SESSION AT 10:59 A.M.

WOOD: We are coming out of executive session. The time is 10:59 a.m. No decisions were made. Discussion was active. Does anybody have anything else to address this committee with? Any concerns, remarks? Great, then we are adjourned.

As there was no further discussion to come before this Personnel & administration committee meeting it was adjourned at 11:00 a.m.
