Our Department is now using 3 vaccines: Moderna, Johnson & Johnson/Janssen and Pfizer. Read carefully the description for each clinic in the link & calendar below to see which vaccine is available.

**Moderna is authorized for use in individuals 18 years of age and older. It is a 2-dose vaccine with 4 weeks between doses.

**Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen (J&J/Janssen) is authorized for use in individuals 18 years of age and older. This is a single dose vaccine meaning one shot; no second dose/shot. The CDC and the FDA have resumed the recommended use of J&J/Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine COVID-19 vaccine under its emergency use authorization. Available data at this time shows that the J&J/Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine’s known and potential benefits outweigh its known and potential risks. If you have any questions or concerns, call your doctor or nurse. For more information, visit https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/different-vaccines/janssen.html

** Pfizer is authorized for use in individuals 16 years of age and older. It is a 2-dose vaccine with 3 weeks between doses.

**Starting in May, our Department will provide school-based Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics at and in collaboration with public schools. These clinics will be open through registration links made available by the school for students 16+ enrolled in that school. There are no walk-ins or public access to these clinics.
